As Communications Manager, Rachel works to spread Breakthrough’s messaging across the internet and beyond! Rachel comes to Breakthrough following two years at the Roosevelt Institute, where she worked to promote innovative policy ideas from Nobel Prize-winning economists and community college students alike. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and Women’s and Gender Studies from Brandeis University, and she’s thrilled that her degree is (finally!) actually relevant to her work. Rachel is a volunteer intake case manager for the New York Abortion Access Fund. She is an occasional freelance writer, a podcast obsessive, and a serious stress-baker.
